These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at backtestinvest.com and any related services, content, newsletters, and signal subscriptions (collectively, the "Service") provided by The Money Reviewer, LLC, doing business as Backtest Invest ("Backtest Invest," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or subscribing to any plan, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Important investment disclaimers
The Service is for educational and informational purposes only. Backtest Invest is a publisher of general investment commentary, strategies, and signals. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner. Nothing on the Service is personalized investment advice, a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, or a solicitation of any kind.
You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. You should consult a licensed financial professional and consider your own financial situation, objectives, and risk tolerance before acting on any information from the Service.
All investing involves risk, including loss of principal. You can lose some or all of the money you invest. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
1.1 Past performance and trade history
Any historical performance, trade history, or results shown on the Service reflect past activity. Past performance is not indicative of, and does not guarantee, future results. Markets change, strategies that worked in the past may not work in the future, and actual results obtained by any particular subscriber may differ materially from any results shown.
1.2 Backtested and hypothetical results
Some performance shown on the Service may be based on backtested or hypothetical results — that is, results generated by applying a strategy to historical data rather than actual trading. Hypothetical and backtested results have inherent limitations: they are calculated with the benefit of hindsight; they do not represent actual trading; they may not reflect the impact of slippage, commissions, taxes, liquidity constraints, or the emotional and operational realities of executing trades; and no representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. Differences between backtested and live results are common and can be substantial.

The Service may contain forward-looking statements about markets, securities, or strategies. These statements are based on our views and assumptions at the time and are subject to risks and uncertainties. Actual outcomes may differ materially.

Position disclosure and conflicts of interest
You should assume that Backtest Invest, its principals, employees, and affiliates (together, the "Backtest Parties") hold, may hold, or may at any time take long or short positions in securities, ETFs, options, or other instruments discussed in our publications, signals, or strategies. Those positions may be taken before, simultaneously with, or after a signal or other content is published to subscribers. This creates an inherent and material conflict of interest between the Backtest Parties and our subscribers.
The Backtest Parties may buy, sell, hold, or change positions at any time and for any reason, including based on our own analysis, risk management, tax considerations, or other factors. Our trades may differ from any signal we publish in timing, size, direction, instrument, or whether the trade is made at all. We are under no obligation to notify subscribers of any change in our positions or to align our personal trading with our published content.
You should not assume that any position held or trade made by a Backtest Party is suitable for you. Make your own independent decisions.

Sources of compensation
We are not paid by any issuer, broker, exchange, fund sponsor, or other third party to feature, promote, or recommend any specific security or instrument on the Service. Our revenue comes from subscription fees paid by users and, where applicable, from our own investment activity (see Section 02).

About the company
Backtest Invest is a trade name of The Money Reviewer, LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company. We publish educational content and algorithmic trading strategies and signals covering instruments such as equities, ETFs, and other market assets.

Eligibility
To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years old, be capable of forming a legally binding contract, and not be barred from using the Service under applicable law. If you are using the Service on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate information, including your name and email address. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at info@backtestinvest.com if you suspect unauthorized use. We may verify your identity, including by sending a confirmation link to your email. We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information or that we reasonably believe are being used in violation of these Terms.

Subscriptions, billing, and renewals
7.1 Plans and pricing
We offer subscription plans including Conservative, Hybrid, Aggressive, and corresponding annual versions. Plan features and prices may change. We will notify existing subscribers by email of material changes before they take effect.
7.2 Billing and authorization
By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processors to charge your chosen payment method for the applicable subscription fee, plus any taxes, on the schedule disclosed at checkout. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.
7.3 Auto-renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual, depending on your plan) at the then-current rate, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
7.4 Cancellation
You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account or by emailing info@backtestinvest.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund the current paid period. Your access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for.
7.5 Refunds
Except where required by law, all subscription fees are non-refundable. We may, in our discretion, issue refunds or credits in individual cases.

Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any law or regulation, including securities laws, market-manipulation rules, or sanctions.
- Share, resell, sublicense, or redistribute paid content (including signals, newsletters, and analytics) outside of your account.
- Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the Service except as expressly permitted.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying logic of any part of the Service.
- Interfere with the Service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or transmit malware or harmful code.
- Misrepresent yourself or use someone else's identity or payment information.
- Use the Service to spread false or misleading information about any security.

License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. This license does not transfer any ownership rights. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

Intellectual property
The Service and its content — including text, graphics, logos, designs, software, strategies, signals, charts, and the "Backtest Invest" name and marks — are owned by or licensed to The Money Reviewer, LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, post, transmit, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

Third-party services and links
The Service may include links to or integrations with third-party websites, payment processors, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for those third parties or their content, terms, or privacy practices. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and subject to that third party's terms.

Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, network or infrastructure issues, or events outside our control. We are not liable for any unavailability and may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time.

Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Backtest Invest disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that any strategy, signal, or content will be profitable, suitable for you, or free from errors.

Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Backtest Invest, its officers, directors, members, employees, agents, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, trading losses, business, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event, or (b) one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; in such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Backtest Invest and its officers, directors, members, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or third-party right; or (d) any investment, trade, or financial decision you make.

Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 01, 02, 10, 13, 14, 15, 17, and 18) will survive.

Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or by a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at info@backtestinvest.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, you and Backtest Invest agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in North Carolina.

General
Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Backtest Invest concerning the Service.
No partnership. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between you and us.
